TWO FOLD SHETLAND WOOLLEN YARN
These pullovers, cardigans and hats are knitted from yarn folded from two different Shetland wools- one dyed and one natural undyed colour. The yarns are named for naturally occurring coloured stones: Connemara Green, an Irish green and white marble; Agate Blue for blue-black chalcedonies prized by the Ancient Greeks, and Levant Red, or rosso levanto, a red and white marble quarried in Italy and Turkey.
