COTTON CURTAIN LINING
This light-weight smooth ecru cotton cloth is woven in England for curtain linings. It is a densely constructed satin weave, designed to block out light and sound behind more decorative curtain face fab- rics, and has a lovely soft shine to it, which takes natural dyes particu- larly well.
Satin weaving is more commonly seen with silk or synthetic yarns, but when done with fine cotton yarn it makes a durable and very soft fabric.
