LINEN-COTTON COVERT
A covert coat is a traditional British tailored overcoat, used while hunting, and intended to act as camouflage in thick undergrowth. It is usually cut from ‘thornproof’ covert fabric, supposedly woven so that a briar thorn could be wiggled all the way through the structure of the cloth without breaking the yarn.
Tender’s linen covert cloth is woven in the same pattern as a traditional thornproof covert, trapping the contrasting natural brown linen weft behind the ecru cotton warp.

TYPE 416 SHORT SLEEVE THREE POCKET SQUARE TAIL SHIRT
The Short Sleeve Three Pocket Square Tail Shirt has large hand pockets sewn into the side seams and a third left chest pocket.

TYPE 492 LONG SLEEVE BENCH SHIRT
The long sleeved Bench shirt is an edited interpretation of a draught-maker’s shirt, with a single breast pocket and pleated cuffs.

TYPE 133 BIAS CUT TREWS
Bias cut trews are based on early trousers, which replaced knee-britches worn with knitted hose as practical leg coverings for men. They are cut entirely on the bias, so they will stretch around the knee and seat, shaping to fit the wearer over time.

TYPE 006 BANDANA
Bandanas are cut from previous seasons' clothing fabrics, and weaving experiments which never made it into production.

TYPE 005 ONE-STRAP TOTE BAG
The oversized One-strap tote bag is folded along the bottom edge, so there is no seam to create a weakness in the fabric. A single wide webbing strap loops around the bag twice, creating both handles, and is cut raw on the bias, at the overlap.
