The Donegal Edge Ryeland Crew Neck Pullover is knitted from fine undyed Ryeland wool, from sheep reared in the Scottish Borders. The neck binding is a contrast, much thicker, soft Donegal yarn. This gives the substance and softness of a much thicker garment, while being thin enough to wear comfortably under a jacket, or in warmer weather. The fully fashioned body is cut generously, with square armholes and shoulders, and the hem is left without any ribbing so that it rolls up. The cuffs are finished in a traditional rib.
