The Bog Jacket is constructed from nylon twill, lined with Italian Prince of Wales check cotton, with added panels of melton wool set just inside the seams of the main panels.

The applied panels create the warmth of three layers in the coat without adding bulk to the seams. The wool panels edges are left raw and fray out over the nylon panels, showing the construction and fabric textures.

Pigment dyed, to colour the lining and cotton sewing thread, and subtly adjust the tone of the navy blue wool and dark blue-grey nylon

Buttons are made from cellulose acetate derived from recycled cigarette filters.
