The Unlined Slad Coat, named for the Slad Valley near Tender’s Stroud home, is a version of the Slad Shirt, cut longer from heavily milled and napped dense woollen box cloth. The back panels, with a split tail, reach up over the shoulders to a front yoke, and the pockets are sewn with an overlapping flap to keep out the elements. The collar can be fully buttoned up against the wind, or worn down.
